CLARA BEATRIZ JARAMILLO

Born in Medellín , Colombia - South America , Clara Beatriz Jaramillo is well known as a professional singer for her ability to perform and extended repertoire that goes from the classic opera to folk and pop-rock. Her voice has been qualified by many as enchanting and very versatile. She has been invited to sing with a variety of artists such as the Venezuelan group Los Terricolas in Colombia and the Argentinean song-writer Fito Páez at The House of Blues in Chicago , among others.

She has been one of the voices of the well known Colombian duet

“Café-Fusion” for over a decade and produced their first two albums :

“Two Women, One Voice” & “Al Filo del Amanecer”.

Along with her studies, Ms. Jaramillo has had the opportunity to learn from Masters such as Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti .

The Colombian has many awards as a singer, song-writer & dancer.

As an actress Clara has perform roles of category such as “Angustias” in “The House of Bernarda Alba” by Federico Garcia Lorca and “Lucía” in “Seviche in Pittsburg” by José Castro Urioste with Aguijón Theater Company of Chicago among others.

She is the associate producer of the film “Out of Love” by Ben-Hur Uribe with Magic Lantern Productions , a short that has been granted with the Audience Award for Best film in the ISP Mid-West Fly Over Zone Festival and has been involved with the International Latino Film Festival of Chicago for over four years.

As a coach she has mixed her training as an integral artist with the tools of human growth to manage stress, personal effectiveness and relationships. Her lessons become an experience where students of all ages discover not only music, rhythm & acting but their inner spiritual voice.

The professor has been the Advisor for kids & youth programs such as “Music & Color”, “Artistic Talents” and “DESEPAZ” in her native country.

She's been the stage management coach for famous artist such as Fanny-Lu , the new Colombian best singer, among others.

The singer and song-writer has been actively involved with individual-world peace and Soul transcendence through MSIA “Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness” since she was a teenager. She is honored of having been the Latino-Voice of the “We are one” world anthem by Kevin and Jimmy Reid with LLP records, the most significant recording project of our times which has been released in December 2005 and involves many other artists such as Dan Mackenzie and Lisa Heile.

Actually, Clara Beatriz is carrying out the new feature of Magic Lantern Productions with director Ben-Hur Uribe and working on her new CD.
